What is NDA Exam?

The NDA exam is conducted twice a year (NDA 1 and NDA 2) to recruit candidates after 12th class for defence services. It is a national-level exam that tests candidates on Mathematics and General Ability.

Candidates who qualify the written exam are called for the SSB (Services Selection Board) interview, followed by medical examination.

The NDA written exam consists of two papers:

1. Mathematics

  • Marks: 300
  • Questions: 120
  • Topics: Algebra, Trigonometry, Calculus, Statistics

2. General Ability Test (GAT)

  • Marks: 600
  • Sections:
    • English
    • General Knowledge (Physics, Chemistry, History, Geography, Current Affairs)

Total Marks: 900
